costumed lady gardening

The workshop "Colonial Gardening" on May 15th is our most popular class! Children work in the Society's Colonial garden, planting historic varieties of vegetables and plants, including bush beans, turnips, carrots, pumpkins, onions, squash, cucumbers, peppers and sunflowers.  In addition to the garden, participants will plant their own seeds to take home and grow.
