Share

The exhibition explores the life and work of this artist community founded by the sculptor Solon Borglum at the turn of the century.  Curated by Susan Gunn Bromley and Ed Vollmer, it features paintings by 23 artists, as well watercolors, drawings, and prints.  This show is the largest collection of Silvermine artists ever exhibited at the NCM&HS and reveals the importance of Silvermine among the Connecticut art colonies.  The show opens with a reception on November 17 from 5:30-7:30, and runs through April 30.
