The Town Players of New Canaan to Perform at the Historical Society’s Annual Valentine’s Day Tea
This year the Historical Society’s Annual Valentine’s Day Tea on Wednesday, February 14th, offers noteworthy entertainment by The Town Players of New Canaan. Cast members from the upcoming production of The Heiress, by Ruth and Augustus Goetz, will perform a dramatic reading of love letters from the Historical Society archives and an excerpt from Washington Square by Henry James, the novel upon which The Heiress is based.
Tea along with petite sandwiches, scones, fancy cakes and a variety of sweets, provided by both the New Canaan and Canaan Parish Chapters of the National Charity League, will be served from 1:00 to 3:30 pm, with the program at 2:00 pm.
