Women of Waveny: Artists, Patrons, and the Lapham Legacy
On View November 12, 2021 – March 31, 2022
Curators Arianne Kolb and Mici Porta present an extraordinary look at Antoinette Dearborn Lapham, Ruth Lapham Lloyd, and Elise Lapham, and the artists who helped shape the Waveny estate, now New Canaan’s preeminent public park. The show features the work of sculptor Abastenia St. Legere Eberle and photographer Frances Benjamin Johnstone. It is a tribute to a female dynasty that left an indelible mark on the landscape of New Canaan.
