Get ready to sing, dance, and imagine!History Tunes and Tiny Tales is the New Canaan Museum & Historical Society’s brand-new music adventure for children ages 4 and under and their caregivers. Led by acclaimed vocalist and musician Christi John Bye, the program is five lively sessions of 45 minutes each held in the Museum’s bright and welcoming Lindstrom Room. Through catchy songs, playful rhythms, and imaginative activities, little learners will joyfully explore fascinating moments from history in a way that’s fun, engaging, and perfectly suited to their age.
Classes will meet on Wednesdays October 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29. This will be a month long subscription. Please do NOT sign up for individual weekly sessions. There is a discounted price for NCM&HS members, and also for siblings.
About Christi: Vocalist Christi John Bye, a native of Kansas City, MO, grew up performing classical, country, pop, musical theater, and jazz, providing her with a diverse foundation of musical styles for her performances today. Educated at Belmont University in Nashville, Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO, and Gnesins Academy of Music in Moscow, Russia, Bye has worked as a recording studio singer, performer at Opryland, classical recitalist, music educator, choral director, and jazz singer with the bands Two Times True and Nightfall.
Christi and her family reside in Darien.
