The New Canaan Museum + Historical Society’s 2025 Modern House Day Tour + Symposium, a favorite since 2001 among architects, designers, and mid-century enthusiasts. This year’s tour includes homes by Philip Johnson, John Johansen, Bimel Kehm, and a newly-built residence reflecting mid-century ideals through modern innovation, open plans, and nature integration. Attendees will tour in small buses, guided by knowledgeable architects. The symposium explores mid-century modernism’s evolution and enduring influence. A catered boxed lunch will be provided.
