Remembering 9/11: An Exhibition of Reflection and Resilience
In collaboration with Voices of Resilience, the Museum is honored to open the Schmeichel Gallery for a special exhibition commemorating the anniversary of September 11, 2001, and honoring the men, women, and children who lost their lives that day.
This poignant exhibition features a powerful collection of artwork, textiles, sculpture, teddy bears, photographs, and memorial ephemera, each reflecting the grief, compassion, courage, and resilience that emerged in the wake of the tragedy. Together, these objects preserve the memories of those who were lost while celebrating the enduring strength of the individuals, families, and communities forever changed by September 11.
Visitors are invited to reflect, remember, and honor the lives affected by this defining moment in our nation’s history through this meaningful display of remembrance and hope.
On view through October 17.
