Lecture is free to members, $10 for all others

ArtScapades will focus on how artists from the Renaissance to the 21st century used and portrayed architecture in their paintings. This lecture will include a look at works by Canaletto, Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Egon Schiele, Marc Chagall, Childe Hassam, Edward Hopper, David Hockney, and more.

Robin Hoffman and Jodi Stiffelman, of ArtScapades, began teaching art appreciation in 1998. They have presented at libraries, art centers, and museums in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Florida.
