Share

October 29 @ 4 pm

This Artscapades lecture examines pop art that emerged in the UK and the US during the 1950s. Initially, Pop Art was seen as radical and shocking, then became accepted as an exciting, colorful, and vibrant art movement.

ArtScapades will look at the lives and works of Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and David Hockney, all artists who celebrated commonplace objects and everyday people, seeking to elevate popular culture to the level of fine art.

Event is free.  Refreshments will be served.
